Marina Barrage is the place to go!


Have you ever been to marina barrage? If not, this is an interesting place you might want to visit!



Marina Barrage is a great place to spend quality time with your friends or family. There is no admission fee to this place. You can fly kite or even picnic on the cooling grass. The view is magnificent and you can enjoy the breeze while looking at the nice views. There are a lot of Singapore tourist attractions such as the Singapore Flyer, world's largest Giant Observation Wheel, and also Marina Bay Sands hotel. This is a good place if you want a quiet and non-smoking environment. Try to spot the nearby Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan from here!


If the weather goes wrong, fret not! You can visit the Sustainable Singapore Gallery where you can learn about how Singapore recycles everything from paper, bottles to even water!

There is even a conserve water interactive exhibit where it will teach you how singapore manages her water resources.


Last but not least, Marina Barrage offers a series of views. There are different views from different angle and the view in the day is different at night. With the upcoming National Day parade, you may want to visit Marina Barrage and go to the roof top to see the breath-taking display of fireworks. Now you do not have to squeeze with people at crowded places and can enjoy the fireworks with you and your friends on the chilly grass patch. So head on down to Marina Barrage soon! Chill out!

How to get there?

SBS Bus 400 
0700hrs – 2330hrs (Frequency of 15-20 mins) 
Take Exit A from Marina Bay MRT Station. The bus stop is about 2 mins walk from the MRT Station. Alight at the last bus stop.
