Catch The Amazing Spiderman before he swings out of the box office!

I’m sure many of you have watched The Amazing Spiderman. I have watched it with my friends and it was definitely a web-tastic experience! For those of you who have not, here is a post for you to tell you how much fun you have missed out.

The new movie follows the storyline of the original Marvel Comics character Spiderman, unlike the previous franchise. This film portrays the character’s origin story and his development into a superhero while he is still a student in high school.

The Amazing Spiderman tells the story of Peter Parker, played by Andrew Garfield. He found a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. Peter ventured out to unlock the mystery while facing challenges.

Of course, like what every superhero would do, Spiderman tries to save his town using his super spidey powers. Like what Uncle Ben said, “With great powers come great responsibilities.”

Not to mention he did all these while trying to impress his crush, Gwen Stacy, played by the gorgeous Emma Stone.

So, you want to know why Peter Parker's girlfriend is Gwen Stacy and not Mary Jane?

This is only 1 out of the 4 sequels that is going to be out in the cinemas. Be sure to catch the next one that is expected to come out in 2014!

Cast: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan with Martin Sheen and Sally Field
Directr: Marc Webb
Language: English with chinese subtitles
Running time 136mins
Rating: PG – Action, Violence

But first, make sure you catch this with your friends before the next film comes out! You may want to consider watching it during the weekdays to get these special deals at Cathay! Not to forget the weekday student price for movies before 6PM at every cinema. And I urge you to hurry to the cinemas with your friends before this film is no longer in the theatre!

For all of you kids from the 90s. I know we all love Spidey!

Personal movie rating: 9/10
